Would you like salt on that?

Not taking the seatpost out or moving it ever.
Seatpost fuses to steel frame.
Winter salt finds its way into seat tube and collects in bottom bracket despite 3mm drainhole (yes, we've been here before).
Bottom bracket bearings radged by salty slops.
Luckily, noticed play in the bearings before the unknown rust/stress fracture on the chainstay became terminal.
Back to Bob Jackson's for new chainstay £65 and £20 to beast the seatpost out of the frame.

Grey and red, aah.
