I issued this kit list to participants of the Big Ben Bash. It may be useful as a guide for your own winter walking (google for other kit lists to compare). In addition, as the leader, I carried 30m of 10.5mm rope (as did another member of the party), enough big group shelters to accomodate all 13 of us and group first aid. For the ridge walk, everyone was issued with a 120cm sling and a screw-gate to make a quick harness. Click to go large or email for pdf.
