Or how do you get a good night's sleep in a blizzard on top of the Cairngorm plateau?
Nice day when we left the van. First pic plodding up Fiacaill a' Choire Chais.

2nd pic, Jenny approaching the snowhole on the Cairngorm plateau at 1125m (it's about 5m in front of her down a short drop). The skyline left to right is: Cairn Lochan, the col at the top of the goat track and Stob Coire an t-Sneachda.
Snow was melted on the jetboil for boil-in-the bag dinner. 60mph westerly all night dictated setting the alarm every 2 hours to get up and dig the door out (which took half an hour). By morning it was every hour and still required swimming to get out.
