Not having enough breakfast made the ascent of Faochag into the cloud hard work and some of us were ready to retrace from the summit. More scran on the top and the cloud breaking to give atmospheric views was like flicking the boost button on a Henry for morale. Having colour vision restored after a period of cloud-base based deprivation is always a treat.
