Jenny and I got married on Am-ploc on the shores of Loch Torridon on 2nd January. Our 5 friends were unaware of the plan until it happened. We had spent the night drinking whisky with them in the teepee in Glen Torridon and arranged to meet Jackie Goode our Humanist Celebrant at Torridon General Stores at 09:00. She was introduced to Tom the Best Man and the witnesses. Tom thought he'd been set up for a blind date with Jackie, only realising that we really were doing what we said when I handed him two boxes of rings.
We walked out onto Am-ploc through the bladderwrack and, despite the battering we had received all night, the non-religious service took place in the ancient public meeting place in good weather. Am-ploc is the little peninsular in the sun in the first shot.

Back to Torridon Stores for bacon butties then a walk up Ben Damph.
