Mont Blanc de Cheilon 3870m: from Cabanes des Dix (41a)

It snowed all the previous day, so we had to pitch the first ridge in crampons rather than moving together over dry rock.

Jenny is the red figure in foreground, the party behind abbed off from there. We bailed just short of the top glacier at 1330hrs.
