La Luette 3548m - SE ridge from Cabanes des Dix (38b)

Arrived Arolla campsite 2100hrs Friday. Walked in to Cabanes des Dix 2928m next day. Families with kids as young as 6 and oldies in their 80's negotiate these 30m ladders to get to this hut - can you imagine the Health and Safety twaddle allowing that in this country, when B&Q won't even lend you a saw to lop a bit off the end of a length of 2x2 so it will fit in the car. Somebody needs to get a grip.

Sleeping at the Dix hut then climbing La Luette next day is a good way to acclimatise.

Had a refreshing cold shower after but they're not my pants.
