Thought it might be 2 1/2 hour drive Capel Curig to Pembrokeshire coast. Arrived 22:00 after 4 1/2 hours of rolling farmland.
Campsite at Porthclais SM743241 gave easy access to sea cliff climbs. The 49mph winds whipped the sea up so we spent a lazy day checking out the routes from above. Also said hello to a large black bull with a nose-ring (over the fence); he turned and did like a round-house kick with both hind-legs which was pretty Thug Life.
As per reputation it is very beautiful here and it would be very easy to become a fat artist eating biscuits and appreciating subtle and dramatic changes in light across the seascape.
