The 0630 start from the car park wasn't really early enough to avoid the masses. Dorsal Arete was in fine condition with lovely plastic snow on the technical section.
Finished off with Stob Coire nan Lochan, Bidean nam Bian then followed the ridge and bumped into 90 soldiers topping out of the headwall of the Lost Valley.
We used the rope again to protect the descent from Stob Coire Sgreamhach onto the Beinn Fhada ridge. It had been ten and a half hours of calm blue skies and fresh snow by the time we reached the car park at the end of Lairig Eilde.
