Dolomites

You got to slap-up before you gear-up. This ridge is the one below the towers in the next pic.

The approach to Cima Della Vezzana after via ferrata Bolver Lugli (4C), figure on bottom of snowfield gives it scale.

The Bivacco Brunner at 2665m, on the side of the glacier, at the bottom of the left hand crag was a good overnight stop. Bunks and blankets for 9 people, maintained by the CAI and respected by visitors. The shovel fixed to the wall above gives an idea of how much snow you might have to dig out in winter to uncover it.

The approach to Rifugio Mulaz.
